Franc is a free currency, crypto, and metals converter built by an independent solo developer (hello@dimchy.com).
Only plain HTTPS requests for price data, sent to public third-party providers. These requests carry no Franc-specific identifier, account, or device ID — just the data needed to fetch rates. Providers see only the standard metadata any HTTPS client exposes (IP address, user agent, timestamp), governed by their own privacy policies. The specific providers may change over time.
Your preferences and converter state, stored locally so the app remembers them between launches. Uninstalling the app removes all of it.
No accounts. No analytics. No IDFA, no App Tracking Transparency prompt. No location access. No data sold or shared with anyone for any purpose.
Franc is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction) and does not knowingly collect data from them.
If this policy changes, the date above will be updated. Substantive changes will also be reflected in the App Store listing.
